Another big surprise (just like “Dans la maison”), a movie of a genre hard to explore, the fantasy. Mixing it with romance it should be something that, at first, seems to have a lot where could fail. This movie it’s classified as a comedy-drama-fantasy (obviously it was forgotten the classification of romance) but, regarding just the first two genres conjugated between themselves, it makes me “afraid” of the “passage”; I mean, the dramatic part after the “fairy-tale” part and before the denouement. Usually, this passage it’s the most criticized by me because it’s not consistent (they don’t explore the content and make it so that it just follows the “rules”), happening, sometimes, unreasonably. In this movie, I became surprised because I was anxious to know how it’ll be the dramatic part and, when this part finally happened, I thought it was intense and really purposeful, revealing/confirming the personality/dysfunctions/problems of the protagonist. The concept it’s very good and the story developed alongside it’s cohesive enough to not let it lose the its strengthS. Summing up, this movie had the correct amount of comedy (very funny moments, allowing laughter), drama (intense and assertive), romance (as I like) and fantasy (the key of success).
This movie explores the timeless problematic of the loving relationships where people think that if it’s done how we want to, everything will be much better. The problem is to know what we want, how we want and if we always want it like that. As a Man this is something impossible to conceive because we’re (extremely) mutable by the capacity of ratiocinate.
I highlight the interesting soundtrack and the detail in the beginning of how the title is presented, in heaven. As the person with whom I watched this movie said, without the excellent acting of these actors, especially and mainly the protagonists, it would not have been the same thing.
For those who like cinema, just watch it.

Mais uma grande surpresa (remetendo ao “Dans la maison”), um filme dentro de um género difícil de explorar, a fantasia. Misturando-a com romance seria algo que, logo à partida, tem muito por onde falhar. Este filme está classificado como uma comédia-drama-fantasia (obviamente esqueceram-se da classificação de romance) mas, pegando apenas nos dois primeiros géneros conjugados entre si, causam-me logo “medo” em relação à “passagem”, isto é, a parte dramática após a parte “cor-de-rosa” e antes do desfecho. Normalmente, esta passagem é a que mais critico por não ser consistente (não exploram o conteúdo e fazem-na só para seguirem as “regras”), acontecendo, por vezes, despropositadamente. Neste filme, fiquei surpreso porque estava desejoso de saber como seria a parte dramática e, quando esta finalmente chegou, achei-a intensa e mesmo muito propositada, revelando/confirmando a personalidade/disfunções/problemas do protagonista. O conceito é muito bom e a história que o desenvolve é suficientemente coesa para não o deixar perder a força. Resumindo, conseguiu ter a certa medida de comédia (momentos muito engraçados, com direito a gargalhadas), drama (intenso e assertivo), romance (como gosto) e fantasia (a chave de sucesso).
Este filme explora a problemática, intemporal, das relações amorosas onde se pensa que se fosse feito à nossa vontade tudo seria muito melhor. O problema prende-se em conseguirmos saber o que queremos, como o queremos e se o queremos sempre assim. Como Homem é algo impossível de conceber por sermos (extremamente) mutáveis pela capacidade de raciocinar.
Realço ainda a banda sonora interessante e o pormenor inicial de como é apresentado o título do filme, no céu. Tal como a pessoa que viu o filme comigo disse, sem a actuação excelente dos actores deste filme, especialmente e principalmente os protagonistas, não seria a mesma coisa.

A friend suggested to me this movie and I went to watch it with great expectations. The movie even fulfills my expectations because it has a very good story and talks about the problems that we can find in the apparently normal families. Kevin Spacey plays a roll that fits him and gives a lot to this movie. I think that it’s not important to suggest this movie because almost everyone already watched it.

Sugeriram-me este filme e fui já com grandes expectativas para o filme. O filme até foi de encontro às minhas expectativas visto que tem um enredo muito bom e trata dos problemas que podemos encontrar no seio de famílias aparentemente normais. O Kevin Spacey desempenha um papel à sua medida e dá muito a este filme. Não vale a pena sugerir o filme pois quase toda a gente já o viu.
